A local real estate agent from Franklin named Geddes Bootwright has been arrested with theft over $500. Bootwright, 36, an agent with Crye-Leike Realtors, was later released from jail. He had posted a $2,500 bail. Cout hearing will start on August 10.
The alleged was the broker who represents a $1.2 million home in the Laurelbrooke subdivision. A housing show was set up on July 16. However, police reports said that the owners reported they have observed him acting suspiciously when they drove by the house.
Homeowners reported to the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office that they did not see anyone other than Bootwright at their home while he was supposed to be showing it to potential buyers. They saw him backing up his car at the front of their house.
